One of the Sabian symbols for the Cardinal Cross whose presence is so prominent in the sky now is, “A very old man facing a vast dark space to the northeast.” This symbol is associated with Sirius – the star to which people have looked for guidance and inspiration over centuries when facing uncertainty.
There can be a sense now that situations which may have been brewing for awhile are coming to a head. It is also possible to experience times of increased optimism followed by periods of considerable doubt.
With Pluto opposing Jupiter challenges which arise may be best dealt with by increasing the level of inspiration in your life or by deepening your spiritual practice. With the Uranus /Mars opposition there is a tendency to want to take impulsive action without heeding possible consequences. Sometimes this can involve a much needed break from oppressive circumstances and other times create more problems which could have been avoided through restraint or forethought.
