Dreams and Surprises – This Week in Astrology

“Sometimes life is so surprising there’s nothing to do but live.”Emily Dickenson

“Last night as I lay sleeping
I dreampt – marvelous error-
That I had a beehive
here inside my heart
And the golden bees
were making white combs
and sweet honey
from my old failures. “Antonio Machado

Saturn backtracked into Pisces yesterday and will remain in this elusive sign through February 14, 2026. This provides a good time to revisit dreams and aspirations.

Limitations we impose on ourselves can be seen more clearly now and where – with the help of Saturn- we need to persevere and work harder.

We are entering Eclipse season with the first Lunar Eclipse on Sunday the 7th at  15 degrees of Pisces. It’s a good time to pay extra attention to your dreams now and reassess where stronger boundaries may be needed to work towards goals.

Mercury enters Virgo today. This is a “get down to work” placement and good for attending to work which requires detail oriented attention.

Mercury squares Uranus this week – there can be surprises and unexpected events. Best to keep communications very clear and  don’t let technological snafus catch you by surprise. Patience, more down time and chamomile tea will be allies this week.

Jupiter will make a favorable alignment with the North Node  this week. Best to be open to change and new directions for personal evolution.

In general in this time there can be a tendency to rush and push to move forward but it’s best to slow down. This will be true this week in terms of the Mars/Jupiter alignment which is associated with “overshooting the mark.”

Uranus will station retrograde this week on the 6th – the day before the Lunar Eclipse.  This can be a nervy week in general. Best to strengthen the nervous system and provide downtime to relax and replenish.

One of the Sabian symbols for this time is,”A peacock is parading on the terrace of an old castle.”
