The tiny purple Michelmas daisies are blooming in NH now – a reminder that Michelmas is not far away. This ancient festival, has been celebrated throughout the western world for centuries. It commemorates the battle and slaying of a dragon by a brave young man named George with the help of the archangel, Michael.
