Venus and Mercury in a Retrograde Dance

“Retrogrades describe emotional integration. They describe a reckoning with the past…This is one of the most challenging facets of growth. yet even the effort is rewarded by a shift in perspective that allows you to take responsibility for your existence.” Eric Francis Coppolino

“The most important thing happening in the world right now is the transformation of humanity’s soul.”L. Robert Keck

I have been reading an interesting book by Judy Tsafrir and in it she writes about a lecture she attended by Rabbi Naomi Levy. Rabbi Levy had written a book entitled Einstein and the Rabbi which is about reclaiming the soul. She was talking about the common practice of taking a selfie in front of a notably beautiful setting. And she said, ” This focus of the presentation and display of the self is not a presciption for happiness.” She recommended instead that we take what she called a “soul-fie”which involves asking a few questions about what your soul wants or needs- for example, “what has your soul been trying to tell you that you have been ignoring?” or “what does my soul want to repair?”

We have Mercury and Venus both retrograde now and opposing Chrion – the planet of healing the past in order to evolve personally. Listening to the needs of the soul, particularly now, can be effective
in integrating what needs to be understood and healed from the past.

The Mercury/Venus retrogrades will end on November 13. With the pace of keeping up with the changes and speed of events taking place on Planet Earth now, this time frame bodes well for rethinking, reflecting and integrating new perceptions and understanding.

One of the Sabian symbols for this time is,”Neighbors help in a house -raising party in a small village.”
